On January 1st 2021, the UK adopted European air laws, as defined by EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency). These new laws make it possible for ‘hobby’ pilots to operate commercially, inevitably flooding the market with novice drone operators offering roof inspection services at hugely discounted rates.

In much the same way that you wouldn’t let an inexperienced gas fitter work in your home, we would strongly recommend that all potential clients think very carefully before employing a non-experienced and non-qualified drone operator to inspect your roof.

RMC are a trusted brand, employing only fully qualified and insured aerial operators. We hold ISO9001, ISO14001, SafeContractor, CHAS, IOSH and NEBOSH accreditations and each pilot carries £10,000,000 public liability insurance for every inspection we undertake. We use the very latest and best drones, with practiced and documented emergency procedures in place at all times.
