If you believe an image of yourself has been captured at a public or private event, you can approach the photographer directly and request to view the image, and/or have it removed directly from the camera(s) if you wish. All RMC photographers must comply with such requests.
Privacy and data retention policy
RMC Event Photography Ltd is registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) and we operate a strict privacy and data retention policy with regard to our photographs and video.
Image/s of yourself and/or a person or persons under 16 years of age who you have stated that you are legally responsible for (hereinafter referred to as “data”) captured by our photographers are securely stored on internal data storage servers at RMC Event Photography Ltd’s operational premisis. These servers are accessible by authorised RMC Event Photography Ltd staff only and are not accessible from outside of our premises.
The lifecycle of our images
Raw, unedited images along with photo metadata are transferred from storage devices in camera(s) and stored for a maximum of 28 days, after which time they are edited and published or permanently destroyed using File Shredder (www.fileshredder.org). All camera storage devices are formatted within 24 hours of the image(s) being captured.
Images which are “published” may be used for, but not limited to, promotional purposes (web, print, digitally and via social media) and/or shared with or sold to local, national and international press and media organisations and/or external (non-press) organisations or individuals.

You can request that we delete the data we hold of you from our internal systems, website and/or social media pages
You can request that we limit where your data is published
